John Rogers

John Rogers

About John:
John is Manager at The Sanctuary, he has worked here since 2007. He is a fully qualified Personal trainer and advanced fitness instructor, specializing in strength and conditioning training and weight management. He enjoys supporting both Blackpool and Liverpool FC in his spare time.

Interests:
Snowboarding, Football, Weight Lifting.

Alasdair Russell

Alasdair Russell

About Alasdair:
Alasdair has been a member of staff since August 2007 and remained so despite studying in Louisiana for a year and completing a degree at the University of Central Lancashire. He now runs a Sports Injury Clinic in Kendal, and works with athletes at Sedbergh School, as well as instructing and teaching classes here at the Sanctuary.

Interests:
Middle Distance Running (1500m, 3km steeplechase and cross country), British Athletics, Cardiovascular programming, Classes, Sports injuries and rehabilitation.

Jenny Miller

Jenny Miller

About Jenny:
Jenny has worked here since the Sanctuary opened. She works predominately as a freelance classes instructor but also as a casual member of the gym team.

Interests:
Boxing for the Kendal squad, outdoor sports.

Graham Parsons

Graham Parsons

About Graham:
Graham has been a member of staff since June 2015, he is a fully qualified personal trainer for 2 years currently delivering sessions at Ulverston leisure and home sessions. He also teaches Insanity class. Graham is a very keen golfer having taken up the sport 2 years ago and bringing his handicap down to 5 in his 1st season. He is looking towards improving further and being a scratch /plus figure golfer.

Interests:
Golf- playing of a handicap of 5, Keeping fit. Personal Training

About Kathryn:
Kathryn has been a member of staff since May 2011 after completing her NCFE level 2 in fitness instructing at LMC and is looking forward to gain ing further qualifications in the fitness industry. Kathryn is recently back from maternity leave.

Interests:
Walking with the dogs, keeping fit , kettlebells

Adam Jennings

About Adam:
Adam has recently joined The Sanctuary Health and Fitness Club as the new apprentice starting a health and fitness instructor course at Kendal college in September.

Interests:
Football (supporting Tottenham FC).
Playing football for Endmoor FC
Weightlifting and keeping fit

Qualifications:
Working towards L2 Fitness instructor NVQ

Sanctuary Opening Times

Monday to Thursday: 7am - 10pm
Friday: 7am - 9pm
Weekends:  8am - 8pm

NB Swimming lessons take place in the pool Wednesday - Saturday at varying times,
