Keeping You Safe - Covid-19


Over the past 3 months whilst the hotels have been closed we have been working tirelessly to make our hotels safe for our guests and we are very excited to welcome you back albeit with a new “normal”.

We want all our guests to feel at ease in our hotels and for us to work together to keep both yourselves and our employees safe.

Our staff will be wearing face shields, masks and gloves as appropriate and the style of service and facilities will be different to normal but we are all the same friendly faces that you are used to and are here to offer you the high levels of service that you would expect.
Hand sanitising stations are situated around the hotel and are clearly signposted and we would encourage our guests to use them regularly
In order to promote social distancing and to follow government guidelines there may be barriers and signage as deemed appropriate to ensure your safety in certain areas of the hotel
All touch points will be regularly sanitised throughout the day and our disinfectant misting machines will be used in all areas at the end of each day
Our staff will be temperature checked prior to commencing their shift and have been fully trained in the correct protocol to protect themselves and others

Our receptionist may need to contact you by telephone the day before you are due to arrive to confirm your booking. They will run through the details of your booking, take reservations for breakfast and dinner time and see if you will require any assistance with your baggage. Please inform our staff during this call if you have any dietary or other requirements or mobility issues. If you wish, we will also take a card payment for your booking over the phone. This allows us to offer a quicker actual check in at the hotel and will hopefully alleviate any queuing and congestion at Reception

On entering the hotel please wear a face covering, there is a hand sanitising station which we ask you to use and then please come to Reception as normal where, if you have already completed a telephone check in as above, you will be issued with your key and directed to your room. Please wait at the barriers to be served if there is already another customer at the desk. If you haven’t completed a telephone check in you will be asked to check in as normal.
In order to limit contact between guests and our staff we will only be offering luggage assistance to those who have requested it due to mobility issues.

All our bedrooms will be serviced to our normal high standards prior to your stay and on the morning of your arrival your room will be thoroughly sanitised with our disinfectant misting machine. Once our thorough sanitation process has been completed your bedroom door will be closed and our staff will not enter this room again prior to you arriving.
Bedrooms will not be serviced during your stay. There will be stations situated around the hotel where you can access bags of fresh towels or extra supplies of consumables or if you prefer you can telephone down to Reception and we will arrange for fresh supplies to be left outside your bedroom door. Any dirty linen can be left outside your door for our staff to collect
Your room may look a little barer than normal as we have removed as many points of contact as we possibly can. Don’t worry, we still have spare pillows, irons, hair-driers etc – if you need anything just ring down to Reception and it will be delivered to your room freshly sanitised.

In accordance with UK law, we respectfully request all our guests wear a face covering and follow social distancing guidelines in all our public spaces including lounges, bars, restaurant, reception and corridors
Lifts should only be used by one family at a time and we request that priority is given to those with mobility issues

Our restaurants and bars will be thoroughly sanitised daily with our misting machine and our tables and chairs have been rearranged to follow social distancing guidelines. Tables will be thoroughly sanitised between uses.
All food and drink orders will be taken at your table and will be brought to you by our staff.
Lots of measures have been put in place to ensure there are fewer points of contact and many items such as condiments will be single use.
All staff will thoroughly wash or sanitise their hands between serving each customer
Contactless or card payments are preferred in these areas
We would encourage our hotel residents to use the toilet facilities within their bedroom to allow our public toilets to be used by any non-residents. This will allow us to maintain higher levels of cleanliness and social distancing

Our pool and gym are open. Due to covid19 guidelines our steam room and sauna will unfortunately remain closed. A pre-booking system will be in operation to allow us to maintain social distancing & allow for extra cleaning. There will be 30-minute slots available for swimming and 45-minutes for the gym. Please note, the sauna and steam rooms remain closed as per Government advice.
